A woman who spent 900 hours and $120 to crochet a blanket for a friend’s son reminds of an ex-colleague who while traveling overseas bought a souvenir for someone back home. The woman was hurt as her gift was returned. The young man, according to her mother likes only designer goods. While the souvenir from my ex-colleague was accepted, she was hurt just the same as her gift was left lying in the house, seemingly untreasured. People get hurt in different ways just like they dissapoint in different ways.
