Grandmothers' Tales

It is not unusual to read of grandmothers becoming victims of snatch thieves or even murderers in the papers. Some grandmothers' tales however come with a difference. Once, in Dungun, Terengganu, a 65-year-old grandmother put up a fight against a snatch thief. She slapped and kicked him before finally surrendering her handbag containing RM250 in cash and personal documents. Then, there is this 63-year grandmother in Kuala Lumpur who was jailed for four days and fined RM800 for stealing a handbag and a pair of sunshades. She pleaded for a lighter sentence, saying that she was always forgetful and had forgotten to pay for the products. Being forgetful does not pay!

Which handbag would granny prefer?
