When we arrived at Kalumpang Island, we were pleasantly surprised with the presence of a Malay family. They were not inhabitants of the island of course. Presently, no one stays there in Kalumpang Island. It seemed odd but the family seemed to be there more for a picnic. They were having a simple lunch then and we were invited to join in. Of course, there was not enough of food to go around. A few of us obliged by having a bite of the food there. Courtesy counts!
