A Traveller's Tale: A Sweet Surprise

Thuan Hee and I had had breakfast in the little town of Sungai Bakap early the next morning. As we were making our way to the coffee shop in the heart of the town to have our char koay teow- a stir-fried ricecake strips dish - we came across a group of women in the compound of the Kee Kongsi. It was spacious there and the women were practising their Tai Chi. And they were graceful when they execute their moves with their little red fans! It was a wonder what little things like a little red Chinese fan could do! Goodbye, Sungai Bakap and thanks for this little surprise. My niece and her husband would pick up for home soon...

At the Kee Kongsi...Can you spot the little red Chinese fan?

They will live 100 years healthy... Here is very popular to run now. You can see running persons every day long the roads but sunday is special. It seems ALL are out to run now (it was not so about 2-3 years ago).

If you see people in the Bible, they lived to a few hundred years old and they don't have to exercise. They just have to live out of Eden. People here run too, mostly young people. It's only the old ladies who grouped together to do tai chi.
