A Traveller's Tale:Snacks at Gurney Plaza

The trip to Penang ended on a happy note. Before making for home, I had with my room mate and another friend visited Penang's Gurney Plaza and had had some delightful Taiwanese snacks in one of the fancy restaurants there. Then it was off to the movie. We watched Dwayne The Rock Johnson's Race to Witch Mountain. This was supposed to be the first Disney movie in 2009 to open at #1 in USA. It was a light movie which would please the kids. And were we kids then! We ought to be kids once a while!

Oh my dear god how enormous is this center! And what was that white thing on the third photo?

It is not as enormous as it looks. Kuala Lumpur should have a bigger place and Bangkok, even bigger. There is a place for shopping which would take more than a day to just take a stroll in Bangkok. As for the third picture, it is a Chinese food. We call it sui kow; It is made of flour and inside there is meat or prawn.
