Oh! Chinese New Year is coming again! Most probably, a tape featuring some kids singing evergreen Chinese New Year songs will be out in the market by now. In Malaysia, such a tape seems to be churned out each year and there probably must be a market for it. My three-year-old grandniece actually loves these tapes very much and has been playing one the whole year round, regardless of whether it's Chinese New Year or not!. And children should know better! Chinese New Year or any New Year for that matter, is whole year round! Why settle for just one day of joy when you can have 365 days of it?
