Out of sight but not out of mind

A. Revathi who suffered from keratoconus could see only shadowy outlines of people. She had two marriage proposals , but both suitors backed off when they found out about her problem. In 2004, a cornea donor from Canada enabled her to see clearly with her left eye and a year later, a Malaysian donor enabled her to see with her right . The two suitors ,on hearing of her restored sight, returned with marriage proposals but Revathi sent them away saying that she did not need them. It goes to prove that while you have not your eyes, you still have your mind!
