This festive season.
Plum blossoms, the flowers from the deciduous tree Prunus mume make their appearances in mid-winter. A harbinger of spring, the flowers would appear in shopping malls without fail come Chinese New Year. It is not surprising considering that this festive season is otherwise known as the Spring Festival.
