Yearning for Freedom

Yearning,
To be free,
Sometimes.

In America, there has been reports that protesters gathered in some parts of the country to demonstrate against stay-at-home restrictions. In the local front in Malaysia, the federal government has decided to implement conditional movement control order; more people, I suppose can now move about compared to the last time when the MCO was in force when only the head of the family was allowed to go out for groceries. The new regulation has received mixed reactions since the threat of the COVID-19 doesn't seem to have abated. Just yesterday, the number of new cases in the nation was over a hundred but several states didn't report any new cases which was rather reassuring. The response coordinator for the coronavirus taskforce in America, Dr Deborah Birx, has warned against gathering in public spaces, citing that COVID-19 infections has topped 1.1 million in the States and the death toll rose to more than 67,000. While she worried that infected people may take the virus home and infect their family and loved ones, there are people yet who yearn more for their freedom.
