In the news; a young Malaysian and a Singaporean friend while out shopping for groceries in Melbourne, Australia, were assaulted by Caucasian women. Australia, I remember was and perhaps still is a country that many Chinese in South East Asians migrate to in their search for greener pastures. That was despite that before the covid-19 pandemic, there was always a Paula Hanson, a fish and chip shop owner turned politician who was against Asians migrating to the country. I suppose people will go anywhere as the long as the grass at the other side appears greener.
