In a Pond

In the pond,
The lotus blooms,
The frog jumps.

Lotuses in ponds are mesmerizing. They are beautiful to look at especially when they bloom. After a rainfall, the rain water may get trapped on the surfaces of the leaves and that would be an added delight when like diamonds, they twinkle. Frog however may present another story. Depending on their species, some may be a nuisance like the American Bullfrogs which eat many of the things there; the fish you rear even. Don't dream that a kiss may turn it into a prince!
