I don't know if you find this strange or if this is just a norm. Just the other day, I read about a political leader saying that the members of his party used to pray for a rival party's downfall. Praying for someone's downfall, friend or foe, doesn't seem like the right thing to do. The Almighty, kind and full of compassion most certainly wouldn't answer such prayers. And, I suppose He won't send destructive flood to teach a lesson as some people would lead us to believe. If man doesn't have good thoughts, the Almighty most certainly has.
