Perhaps, after walking up to the top floor of Kellie's Castle, you'd be puffing for breath and would want to take a lift down. There is supposed to be a lift here. I think I read somewhere that Kellie the Planter was shopping for one in Europe when he died suddenly and did not return to complete its construction. You have no choice then but to walk dwon the staircase. Take your time and revel in the architecture of the castle as you walk and before you leave, enjoy the tropical garden. This is afterall the place where Chow Yun Fatt walked when he was plaing king to Jodie Foster's Anna in Anna and the King. Last look could be memorable if you allow it to be!
