A Traveller's Tale: A Foreign Culture

William Kellie Smith, the man who built Kellie's Castle reportedly was fascinated with the Hindu religion and the Indian culture. He was said to have even prayed to the Hindu Goddess, Amman so that he would be blessed with a son. His love for everything Indian probably influenced the construction of Kellie's Castle. The castle was to have similar architecture to those of Madras, the capital city of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, now better known as Chennai. Bricks and tiles for the castle were in fact all mported from India and a big group of Indian labourers were employed to build the dream house castle. There is nothing wrong with a foreign culture!

Can you spot anything Indian here?
