A Traveller's Tale: Tell-tale Signs

You'd expect the excavation site at Kalumpang Island to be devoid of relics by now. Certainly, neither the prehistoric human skeletons nor the foodstuffs and human teeth that were supposedly buried under the house with them could be found there at the moment but if you were to brush the earth, you'd be lucky enough to uncover a tiny bead or a piece of ceramic. While local archaelogists have been on the lookout for signs of the early Malays in Peninsular Malaysia, the guide said the tell-tale signs suggest the presence of Indian inhabitants. There are evidences in our earth!
