A Traveller's Tale: Trip or Treat?

Kuala Sepetang, small as it is, attracts visitors. I remember the day Mau Wei brought along her bunch of friends from Penang for a visit. They came in cars, bringing their wives, husbands and children. Together, we had had breakfast in a coffee shop. Kuala Sepetang, incidentally is also famous for its curry mee (inset), a dish made up of thin yellow egg noodles or rice vermicelli with spicy curry soup. Of course, to try the famous Kuala Sepetang curry mee, one has to wait until three in the afternoon since the stall would only be open for business then. Some of us had to make do with curry mee sold by another lesser known vendor. Beggars shouldn't be choosers!

Mau Wei and her buddies...Would you by any chance know one of them?
