Taking a boat out of Kuala Sepetang, you'd be confronted with a beautiful view. You are going out to the sea which forms part of the Straits of Malacca. The sky seems so wide when you look into the horizon and so blue too, and the trees on the river banks are never so green! The trees are actually mangrove trees and should be part of the Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve which covering 40,152 ha, is said to be the largest single mangrove forest in Peninsular Malaysia and one of the best kept in the world. How's that for a little fishing village? One is never too small to stand out!
Can you see the mangrove trees?
