A Traveller's Tale: Good Company

Jebong Forest Reserve sounds rather like an unfamiliar name but that's what some people call the mangrove swamp in Kuala Sepetang. After breakfast we went there to catch a boat to Kalumpang. We waited at the jetty but the boat we had hired was nowhere to be seen. It was a long gruelling more than an hour wait for the boatman and our smiles could easily have turned to frown but then there were many of us there and we had each other's company. Later, when the boatman arrived, we put on our life jackets and hopped into the boats. Then it was rocking and rolling in two boats all the way to Kalumpang. Good company makes the world rock!
