Fishes, these cold-blooded, aquatic vertebrates with scales and fins - they are such a joy to look at and I am not talking about those colourful ones in your aquarium and especially not about those strange ones which purportedly were swept to the beach by the tsunami in 2004. The ones sold in Tesco, Taiping may be dead but they were still interesting to look at but someone told me that it would still be better to buy fishes at the wet market since they would be fresher. Don't go for the looks!
