Singapore must be some kind of country to have this said to be non-denominational megachurch called New Creation Church. Founded in 1984 by a part Indian part Chinese Joseph Prince and his group of friends after they had been asked to leave their old church, the new church had just about 22,000 members but they managed to raise $21 million in just 24 hours for a new church building, breaking the church's record of $19 million raised the year before and $18 million raised in 2008. Ironically, the church has business ventures, which includes Rock Productions and several childcare centres. Sometimes, I suppose you can have your cake and eat them too!
