Talking about Suicide

There's an article on a bankrupt attempting suicide in the Net. I think I have heard of a man here who booked into a hotel room and jumped to his death after losing heavily in the share market. After World War II, Great Britain reportedly went bankrupt. That was even after Great Britain had won the war. A New York Times article reported the UK only managed to make its final payment in 2006 on $4.34 billion in loans extended by the U.S. way back in 1945. $4.34 billion in 1945 is roughly equivalent to $140 billion today, a sum said to be double the size of the British economy at the time. It's a good thing a country can't commit suicide!
