A cowboy town isn't actually a cowboy town like the one where Gary Cooper fought it out with a gang of killers in High Noon, the 1952 American western film directed by Fred Zinnermann. Among us here, we mean a small boring town with the least possible activities. On Christmas day last year, Thuan Hee and I visited this very different quaint cowboy town called Tambun. It is a fishing village infested with seafood restaurants and there is even a quaint little Chinese temple there that delighted the eyes! It doesn't take a gang of killers to add excitement to a cowboy town!
