A Traveller's Tale: Antidote for Tired Minds

After the spree in Tambun, Thuan Hee and I made our way back to Sungai Bakap where we would put up a night in Thuan Hee's ancestral home. Dubbed Noble House by us, the ancestral home is not really a house but a row of houses with a big spacious compound and a history that went back to the colonial days when the British were the ruling classes in the then Malaya; and perhaps, it would right too to say - to the time of the Ching Dynasty when Chinese males wore pigtails. The house had seen better days and presently, the unoccupied houses are a bit neglected but at the occupied quarters, the dainty garden especially is an antidote to the tired minds. Gardens are always a joy!
