It is said that fictional Japanese warrior Naoe Kanetsugu and his wife Osen (inset) appear in rice fields in the town of Yonezawa, Japan. It seems that rice plants of different colours have been strategically planted so that when they grow up, they create stunning pieces of art. Most probably, you would take that with a pinch of salt but at N & G Art Gallery, children and youngsters definitely could create stunning pieces of artwork with just any piece of scrap!
