In Kemaman, Trengganu, Malaysia, a burglar who was mysteriously trapped in a shop for three days claimed that sorcery was at work in the shop he had burglarised. He claimed that upon entering the shop, he was immediately blinded and the place felt like a cave. When he tried to flee, a supernatural figure would shove him to the ground. The owner of the shop, Che Ibrahim Che Abdullah brushed the claim aside and believed that it was merely a punishment from the Almighty. Being a constant victim of burglaries whenever he and his wife returned to their village in Selising, Kelantan, Che Ibrahim had this time recited some prayers, asking for divine intervention. God will act when asked.
