Two of a Kind

One fine day, Mr. How and I decided to go all the way to Selama to have dinner. I have often told him about the crispy pig throttle served by a Chinese restaurant there and just when we made a pact to travel 30 mile to gourge on it, we found the restaurant closed! I called up Hoi Thien who was familiar with the town and the latter suggested that we go to Serdang instead which was some 8km away from where we were. So, we drove off, leaving Selama Perak, crossed Selama Kedah and visited Serdang instead. There are actually two small towns called Selama in Malaysia. One is actually in the state of Perak while the other is just across the border of Perak and Kedah and to differentiate the two, we call the two towns Selama Perak and Selama Kedah. But forget about the two towns for now; there is always Serdang, the little town in Kedah which is famous for its fried porridge. And talking about Serdang, there is another town called Serdang in Malaysia, somewhere in Selangor...It is always nice to have two of a kind sometimes...
