Tattoos are permanent markings created by inserting colored materials into the skin's surface. Tattoos are popular all the world over and used to serve as marks of status, ranks as well as for religious and spiritual devotion, decoration for bravery, sexual lures, marks of fertility, amulets and talismans for luck and against evil etc. etc etc When a badly decomposed body was found in a well in Nibong Tebal, Malaysia, a man was asked to identify if the body belonged to his missing brother. Fearing for the worst, the man braced himself as he made his way into the mortuary. A tattoo on the decomposed body however ensured him that his fear was unfounded.
