Teas Of Different Hues

The other day, friends came over and I served them with green teas. These teas were mass produced in packets and were very convenient as they were ready to serve. The green tea were very fragrant too, and a real delight! There are actually six different types of tea: white, yellow, light green, green, red and black tea. Green teas are green with a tinge of yellow. White teas which are slightly fermented are supposed to be paler in colour. Yellow teas are yellow. Red teas are dark brown or dark red in tone but black teas are not black. They are yellow with a tinge of green. As for light green teas, they are greenish in colour with a tinge of red. Now, let's forget all that and just drink to tea. Without facts hanging over us, that would be more relaxing!

Miss Carla,If you are talking about Chinese tea in general, I have heard someone say that it helps to keep you slim. Others said it's good to 'wash' down the oil after a big meal like a Chinese wedding dinner but for me, I find I can't sleep after drinking tea. The green tea shown in this post is just introduced in the market, I suppose. Didn't see it before and I think it is meant to be a popular drink. Unlike normal Chinese tea where sugar is not added, here you find the tea sweet. It's like the commercial chrysanthemum tea sold in the market.Chrysanthemum tea made from chrysanthemum flower is supposed to be cooling. There are many other usesbenefits of tea and I have posted only two at http://impermanentworld.blogspot.com/2008/01/tea-for-colds.html and http://impermanentworld.blogspot.com/2008/02/banana-green-tea.html
Do have a look.
