Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt - Trees

Today is Saturday. Do post a photo of a tree that attracts your attention or simply take a photo of the tree in your backyard to show off in your blog. Then, leave your URL here so that I could get back to you and have a peep. For me, I have posted a very unique tree. The rain trees in the picturesque Lake Gardens in Taiping must have been there since I was born. The rain trees there are the pride of the town and yes, come to think about it again, they have been there since I was born. In fact, they are as old as Taiping town, if not older. They are over a hundred years old and I understand they were planted by the British when they were in power in Malaysia. To me, that was so long ago...

An amazing tree... and a wonderful photo. There is something about trees that represents age, history and wisdom. I guess it is because in many instances they are living objects that people of 'times gone by' have looked at and touched.

I took a walk into local woodland area lats sunday morning and took some photos there. Please be welcome to come and have a look at some of the photos on www://grahamettridge.blogspot.com

Kindest regards, Graham :)

Awesome tree! I don't really have anything special around my neighborhood - just a few maples and pines. I StumbledUpon some interesting pictures of trees and if I find them I'll be sure to give you a link.
