An Old Age Problem

Jeanne Louise Calment , born in Arles, France, to a well-to-do family, lived to a very ripe old age. At one time when she was 113, she was the world's oldest person according to the Guinness Records. She lived a fascinating life, taking up fencing at age 85, riding a bicycle at 100 but on her 110th birthday, an accident while cooking sent her to a nursing home. She was still able to walk but then at 114 years 11 months, she fell and had to go for a hip operation, thus making her the oldest verified surgery patient. From then onwards, she was on a wheelchair and passed away finally at the age of 122 years 164 days. Death is inevitable and to many people, old age, too . Whatever will happen during our old age, nobody knows but knowing that our health may give way, it's better to be prepared. People today are rather lucky that there are many good nursing homes that offers excellent services to address this problem. Certain things in life are just inevitable. I want to live my life to the fullest while I am still able.

It's good that nursing homes are there to care for those who need the service. Unfortunately, they are pretty costly and commercialized.
