The local newspaper reported that seven monks and 30 devotees had offered prayers at a mansion the other day. The dilapidated Relau Villa mansion in Penang is believed to be haunted. Factory operator M. David Raj, 19, who hangs out there with his friends and cousins for the past five years, said he had on several occasions smelt fish curry while they were there at about 7pm. A friend who uttered some vulgar words was sent tumbling down the stairs and a nun claimed that she saw many souls there .The prayer session was done to fulfill the late nun's request. Rumors had it that a woman committed suicide in the mansion's pool. The trustee of the mansion however said that the claims by the nun was not true and that she had been illegally occupying the land.
