Spice of Life

It seemed like it was not too long ago that colouring the hair had caught Asia by storm. Film stars in romantic dramas from Hong Kong suddenly appeared with blond, brown or red hair and today, it is a norm to see actors and actresses, students and even aunties, all over Asia sporting hair other than their original colour.Colouring really take its toll on hair. The chemicals used swell up the hair cuticle to get underneath it, leaving the hair rough and prone to breakage. There was also a time when it was said that hair dyes could cause cancer. But what the heck! If there is no colouring, Asians will only have black or grey hair. We need variety to spice up our lives!
