What's in a a name?

Indian ink ironically isn't from India. The simple black ink which is a mixture of soot from pine smoke and lamp oil mixed with the gelatin of donkey skin and mask is but a Chinese invention. A philosopher, Tien-Lcheu (2697 B.C.) is believed to have invented and perfected Indian ink. Today, the ink is used for writing and printing as well as for drawing, especially when inking comics and comic strips. Some people seem to think a name is just a name. As Shakespeare say, a rose by any other name is still a rose but if have called a rose a lotus, you would also think it lives in water, wouldn't you?
