Shooting Rampage

The shooting rampage in a campus in America where a South Korean immigrant killed 32 people has been hailed the deadliest shooting rampage in modern U.S. history. It seems campus authorities had become aware of the killer's troubled mental state 17 months before he went on his killing spree but university officials had insisted they had no responsibility for monitoring his psychiatric care after he was said to have been suicidal in 2005 and was sent to a mental health center. It is amazing to find a reputed educational instituion claiming no responsibitly for its students and amazing still to find a student with mental problem running around campus instead of being observed by qualified doctors in a psychiatric ward. Perhaps, this is what a free world is all about. One is free to do just anything and no one is responsible. Everyone has the right to education even though he or she is not mentally fit.
