Myth about eggs

It is believed that eating eggs will raise the cholesterol level since egg yolks have the most concentrated amount of cholesterol in any food. According to news from the Internet however, this is just a myth. When eggs are eaten in moderation, they do not contain enough cholesterol to pose health risks. Many many years ago, I met a teacher who, because of this myth, had a habit of eating only the egg white. Being a very thrifty person, the teacher did not throw away the egg yolk as one would probably expect. Instead, he passed it to his wife who willingly gobbled it up. I bet one should not always emulate the teacher.

Dear Sean, Don't throw away the egg yolks. You can use it to shampoo your hair or make a mask for your wrinkled face. At least, that would do some justice to those starving people in other parts of the world!
