I bet we still remember the telephone with the fixed line. Afterall, it is still around and we can still find them in offices and at home. Probably, long, long ago, we would not have imagined that the telephone could become mobile and so incredibly small, light and sleek and with multiple functions too, making it oh, so convenient. Nevertheless, the negative point is people can now yak away anywhere they like, in public places like cinemas, restaurants and even in public toilets and loudly too at that. Atmosphere are spoiled and it is annoying and frustrating when you are trying hard to enjoy a movie in the cinema or trying to enjoy a quiet dinner in a posh restaurant. Sometimes, you also feel let down and neglected too when your friend there with you prefer to chat and be more chummy to his or her other friend at the other end of the line. You get to feel worthless at times and then, what the heck, you have a handphone too. It comes cheap these day and any Ah Lian or Ah Beng can own a handphone if he or she so wishes. Get one, get mean and get even!
