A Traveller's Tale: Create a Memory!

At the Formosa Resort in Melaka, you'd be reminded of Haathi Mere Saathi (inset), the biggest Hindi hit of 1971 starring Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja. I remember the movie, Haathi Mere Saathi or Elephant My Friend, being played to full houses for over a hundred of days in the 70s and audiences were mesmerized by the clever elephants playing football and saving human lives in this family drama. In Melaka, at the Formosa Resort, you could attend an elephant show and see elephants play football too, draw and do many other feats. After the show is over, you could even get close and cosy with the elephants too and pose for a snapshot with them.
